Vladislav Berdichevsky: DPR Representative Centre in France will help Europeans learn truth about civil war in Donbass
On Monday, September 25, in the city of Marseilles (France), the grand opening of the Representative Centre of the DPR in France took place.
The ceremony was attended by the president of the association “My country France” Jacques Klostermann, French political analyst, expert of the political and strategic analysis center “Stratpol” Xavier Moreau, representatives of the French public, deputy mayors of the 6th and 8th districts of Marseilles, as well as representatives of local elected bodies the authorities of the Department of Bouches-du-Rhône Christian Pujol and Christian Borelli, who visited the Donetsk People’s Republic in June this year. In total, the event was attended by about 60 guests and representatives of numerous media such as RT, Le Monde, Mars Actu, La Provence, Atlantico, Afp, TV Liberté and others.
The Chairman of the DPR Centre in France, Hubert Fayard, made a welcoming speech, noting the importance of the opened organization’s activities in the fight against the information blockade and biased information disseminated by shill Western media. Mr. Fayard expressed hope for successful work of the Centre, which will result in strengthening the position of the Republic in the international arena.
During the ceremony, a video message from the acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the DPR Natalia Nikonorova was presented. The head of the foreign ministry congratulated the organizers of the event on the significant event and thanked them for the support of the Donbass people.
The People’s Council Committee on Foreign Policy, International Relations, Information Policy and Information Technologies took an active part in organizing the opening of the Representative Office. Deputy Chairman of the Committee Vladislav Berdichevsky told about this in an exclusive commentary to the press service of the parliament.
“This is the fifth representation of the Republic in European countries. Previously, such institutions were opened in Greece, Italy, Finland, and the Czech Republic.
Within a few weeks after the announcement of the opening of the DPR Representative Centre, representatives of the nationalistic Ukrainian community tried to organize harassment of our French friends, stuffing up the French embassy in Kiev, the French Foreign Ministry and the Ministry of the Interior with letters and appeals.
It is noteworthy that there were mass appeals addressed to the Minister of the Interior of France from the so-called public representatives from the Donbass territory temporarily occupied by Kiev, demanding to summon a police squad and dissolve the Representative Centre in Marseilles. Among them there were representatives of political movements “Bees of Kramatorsk”, “Runes of charm”, “Maidan supervision”, reconnoiterers and scout organizations,” the parliamentarian said.
According to him, the opening of the next Centre of the Republic in Europe will help break through the information blockade on the part of Western media about events in the Donbass.
“The Centre will contribute to strengthening the international image of the Donetsk People’s Republic, expanding economic and socio-cultural ties between the DPR and France. It will help the Europeans learn the truth about the civil war in the Donbass,” Vladislav Berdichevsky concluded.
