Alexey Lubtsov noted a progress in the youth policy of the DPR in his speech.
ʺWe can see a positive dynamics in the implementation of youth policy and the results of the work among young people. For our part, we share our experience and projects. I am glad that the DPR youth took part in the Russian campaign, participated both in federal and district forums and, in particular, in “Rodnaya gavan,” the expert shared his impressions.
The Vice-Speaker of the DPR People’s Council Olga Makeeva compared the patriotic education of youth in the Republic with the Ukrainian one until 2014.
ʺUnfortunately, the issues of patriotic education and the work with young people had been only on paper for many years. And, in fact, state education programmes aimed at younger generations substituted values instead of educating them. What happened in 2014 was the peak of immorality in the youth policy of the state and we see what terrible consequences it led Ukraine to.
But the war, which had come to our land, forced us to revalue the importance of the youth policy and its values – what we love, what we believe in – to remember heroic deeds of our ancestors, to remember our great motherland,ʺ Olga Makeeva said.
Also, the Deputy Chairman of the DPR People’s Council thanked the Russian experts for their assistance and experience, shared with the young Republic.
The Chairman of the People’s Council Committee on Youth, Sports and Tourism Yuri Sivokonenko thanked the Russian experts for the systematic assistance, noting the Republic’s progress made in youth policy.
ʺWe – coaches, teachers and mentors from Donetsk – accomplished our mission. We did not allow torchlight processions and other Ukrainian Neo-fascism manifestations to arise here. And young people believed in us and followed us to build a new state,ʺ Yuri Sivokonenko shared his opinion.
