Working group of People’s Council’s Committee on Civil and Arbitration Law holds its final meeting
On August 8, a working group of the Committee on Civil and Arbitration Law established by a decree of the Chairman of the DPR’s People’s Council Vladimir Bidyovka hold a meeting to ensure the adoption of the Civil Code of the Donetsk People’s Republic.
The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the People’s Council Vladimir Bidyovka and People’s Council’s deputies, Representative of the Head of the DPR in the People’s Council Alexey Sukhinin, representatives of the DPR’s Government, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Revenue and Taxes, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Supreme Court and the General Prosecutor Office.
The Speaker of the Parliament Vladimir Bidyovka noted the importance of the Civil Code’s adoption in a commentary to the press service of the People’s Council.
ʺThe Civil Code is often referred to as the second Constitution of a state, which is why its development must be approached with particular and scrupulous care. Having discussed all proposals, the working group reached an understanding of the provisions of the document that had been submitted for consideration. It is essential to hear all opinions, so that the final document provides quality protection of the rights and freedoms of our citizens,ʺ Vladimir Bidyovka said.
In turn, the Head of the working group Andrey Bayevsky took stock of the work and thanked all participants for the work done.
ʺIt should be noted that we need to adopt the Civil and the Arbitration Procedure Codes of the Donetsk People’s Republic for the optimal functioning of all provisions of the Civil Code. These measures are conditioned by the conceptual interconnection of these bills.
At the final meeting of the working group, the experience of the Russian Federation in the practical implementation of the Civil Code was analyzed. Separately, I would like to focus attention on the need to improve the processes of public service delivery to the population in connection with the adoption of the Civil Code and related bills. The working group has done everything to improve the quality of both public services and the lives of our citizens.
